Does the RV air conditioner require both 115V AC and 12V DC power connections?

Yes. The RV air conditioner requires both 115V AC and 12V DC power to operate properly. If either power source is missing, the unit may not start or function correctly.

Error Code E3: DC Low Voltage Protection

When DC voltage drops below 10.5V, the unit enters protection mode and stops operating. A 12V DC power supply is required. Charge or replace the 12V battery, use a 110–120V AC to 12V DC adapter, or install a dedicated 12V battery.

Error Code E4: DC High Voltage Protection

When DC voltage reaches 36V or higher, the unit enters protection mode and stops operating. The air conditioner requires 12V DC power. Replace with a compatible 12V battery, use a 110–120V AC to 12V DC adapter, or install a dedicated 12V battery.

Error Code E2: Wired Controller Temperature Sensor Fault

This error may be caused by a faulty sensor, loose/damaged wiring, or dust buildup. Turn off power for 5–10 minutes and restart. Check cable connections, clean the sensor probe, and replace the sensor or wired controller if the fault remains.

Error Code E1: Communication Failure

This error may be caused by a loose connection, signal interference, or a faulty control board/wired controller. Check all connections, restart the unit, and test again. If the issue continues, replace the control board or wired controller.
